We asked ourselves a question that had gone unanswered for far too long:
Why is there no platform in the Netherlands that truly reflects Black identity not only as consumers, but as cultural carriers?
Radiant Roots is our answer. A platform that takes Black heritage and identity seriously and celebrates them. Because culture is not something to be preserved behind glass. It deserves a stage.
So that women of color can see themselves reflected and strengthened in the culture and society they are part of.
